Our Beliefs

The Trinity

God the Father. The Son. The Holy Spirit.

The Scripture

We affirm that the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the infallible and inspired Word of God. The Bible acts as a source of doctrine and guidance.

Redemption

We firmly believe that when Christ died on the cross he paid the penalty for the sins of the world, and those who receive Him as Lord and Saviour can benefit from it greatly.

Salvation

We all have the free gift of salvation through God because of the death of His Son Jesus. Salvation takes place when there is a personal repentance, belief and declaration in the Lord Jesus, and an acceptance of the Lord being in your personal life. In return, we are adopted in the family and have full inheritance into the kingdom of God. Salvation should bring about a new and active lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus Christ.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is the outward expression and sign of what God has done in the life of an individual and is a testimony for others of this new life.

The Return of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return in bodily form, that there will be a resurrection of believers, the millennium and that final judgment will take place. Final judgement is the determination of eternal status of both believers and non-believers which is based upon every individuals relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our HISTORY

Pastor Sue’s parents, Harvey & Margaret Kiteley started a home Bible study with their neighbours & friends in 1981. Three years later, due to the continued growth of the group, BCFC was started in the library of a local school.

Humble beginnings with great times and incredible people.

In the church’s 5th year, Pastor Sue became lead Pastor. Now we are celebrating our 35th year as a church. We have the strength of a multicultural congregation. A love of the word of God. A person embracing and relying on the Power of the Holy Spirit and experiencing the power and Love of God first hand!
